Happy Holidays

As the year draws to an end I always reflect on what I have done and what the new year brings.  Once again I feel so blessed that I have been healthy and had the opportunity to really make the most of this amazing year.

I have travelled so much this year, been to Australia twice to see my family, and the last time to celebrate my beautiful grand daughter’s second birthday. I have travelled to California twice, firstly  to celebrate  the birth of my second grand son and now to spend the festive season with my family.  I have been to Europe to spend an amazing week with my precious daughter in Italy and done business trips with Eric. He has taken me to taste amazing food in fabulous restaurants and humoured me with my constant photo taking, trips to gourmet food shops, visiting every boulangerie in Paris, and having to eat most of the pastries and cakes I buy, as I always “just want a taste.” He has participated in my constant deliberations over every recipe I see in every cookbook and food magazines, and has been the best food critic I know.

I feel honoured to have made some very special blogging friends, who are incredible cooks, photographers and stylists.  These amazing creative women have inspired me in so many ways, and I thank you all for your wonderful support.  You know who you are, and I love you for your kindness and the kinship we share.

All my friends and family, and those of you that I don’t know, who support my blog, my instagram and facebook accounts, are the backbone of why I carry on. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement and comments.

May yours be a December to remember, filled with love, happiness and plenty of good food.
