Lee's Apple Crumble

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 5ml baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup butter
  • cinnamon
  • 2 tins apples
  1. Preheat oven to 180ÂșC.
  2. Grease the bottom of a pie dish with a little butter.
  3. Spread the apples out into the pie dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Mix together the flour , castor sugar and baking power.
  5. Make a well in the middle and crack the egg into the mixture and mix until crumbs form.
  6. Cut the butter into small cubes and crumble into the flour mix, using your hands.
  7. Sprinkle over the top of the apples and bake for 30minutes.
  8. Serve with custard or ice cream.
